Commission or client discount
Both Harlequin and PIM are UK based companies with a proven track record and commission payments are reliable, traceable and also VAT-free.
6% of the purchase price is payable to an IFA/Agent who is responsible for the sale of a property, even if sales support is provided by Harlequin or PIM. The IFA may use this as a commission or pass it through to a client as a discount, according to the IFA model being used.
PIM will advise the IFA/Agent when the deposit has been paid and will accept an invoice for the correct amount. The invoice will be paid normally within 10 working days of receipt of cleared funds from the developer. This is typically 8-12 weeks from reservation, but does depend on the client’s deposit timescale.
IFA success
An independent IFA firm introduced by us a few months ago has now sold 6 properties with a further 6 in the pipeline. The IFA was encouraged to visit the developer and ensure that he was completely satisfied with the product and the integrity of the developer before signing up.
